Will and Heather have been saying “yes” to adventure together since 2004. They are high school sweethearts from Southwest Michigan. The couple was married in 2008 and have two boys; Graeson and Trenton. Their current big dream is to travel the country with no plan except to chase 75 degree weather and make a positive impact along the way.
Will is a lifelong entrepreneur with a good sense of business ethics. With Heather's background in restaurant management, they have spent the last six years owning and operating several restaurants. The boys are professional mess-makers, but they already have a curiosity of business from growing up in their parents' businesses. With the effects of Covid-19 this past year, their business was shaken financially, having them re-evaluating their life adventure and realizing they were so busy making a living they were neglecting to make a life. After much soul searching and reflecting, they decided it was time to get back to Restoring Adventure into their lives.
They are taking their love and passion for camping and adventure and turning it into a career. They have travel trailers available for rental now and soon will offer Class C and potentially other recreational equipment available for rent. What they have found is so many people don't have the time to own and maintain equipment year-round, but by offering options at value-based prices, they can help other families restore adventure in their lives. The young family also plans to clean up state and national parks as well as plan community volunteer projects to leverage the impact they can make by working with rangers and individuals.
Our mission is twofold; restore adventure by providing rentals to individuals and families and clean up state and national parks and encourage others to volunteer and do the same. We will restore hope to families who couldn't afford a vacation by giving away two free weeks per coach each year. At Restoring Adventure we think it starts with you.
